It’s not going well. It’ll be even worse when the south westerly  hits. Many homes may be incinerated this arvo.

On the other hand...the honey coloured daylight is kind of pretty.

We’ll be fine where we are currently .

But there’s another four months of potential burning to go...and we live hard up against one of the most fire prone parts of Eastern Australia. One stray lightning strike is all it takes at the moment.

Stars are billion year old thermonuclear explosions so massive they can only be contained by their own gravity, or objects so massive that their own collapse can only be halted by thermonuclear explosions in their own cores.

They also are responsible for all elements heavier than Hydrogen and Helium (and some Lithium).
